Ethan Turns 3

So I can honestly say that it doesn't feel like Ethan is 3. First, he acts like such a big boy. Very independent and very smart, not to mention his size, I feel like he should be so much older. Sometimes I find myself thinking that it is weird that he is only going to be 3. But second, I feel like it was just yesterday that I was going to the hospital to have him. He is still my little baby boy and me being selfish want him to stay that way forever. Then I find myself thinking that I wish he wasn't turning 3. I'm torn. Oh well now onto the birthday boy.

So the start of the day wasn't very good. Ethan has been fighting this cold for the last week but when he woke up yesterday the cold had traveled to his eyes. He could hardly see out of them. I felt so bad for him. He didn't even want to go to Pre-school. But I got him there and told them if he got any worse to call me and I would come and get him.
By the time I got him they said his eyes had been running all day. The poor boy. But he seemed like he was having fun with all the kids. So I asked him if still wanted his birthday party and he said yes, he wanted his monster birthday. (I'm not really sure where he got that, all I know is one day I asked him what he was doing and he said he was going shopping for his monster birthday party!)
So Diana, Frank and the kids came over and we had a nice big party. We had pizza and cake and ice cream. He had such a good time. So by the end of the day needless to say we were both super tired.

It was a great day... HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN!!!!

Day at Thanksgiving Point Farm

SCOOBY DOO!!

So we finally did it! Ethan got his Halloween costume today... On the way to Utah today he was telling Grandma about how I already had it for him. And when he came in and ran to his closet looking for it, I figured it was about time to get it. So we went to Target and he ran right for it and started screaming. It was one of the cutest things that I have ever seen. People were looking at him like he was crazy and I guess he kind of is...Crazy for Scooby Doo! So here are some pictures of his costume that he has been wearing non-stop since we walked in the door!
